A National Directory for Treatment and Recovery Resources

What we do

We publish plain-language education about detoxification, rehabilitation, mental health treatment, dual diagnosis, levels of care, insurance and costs, family support, and continuing recovery. We maintain a directory of treatment providers, national resources, and peer-support organizations, with each listing labeled by verification status. And we provide two ways to reach a person: our general information line and a short inquiry form.

What we are not

We are not a treatment provider, a medical practice, a hospital, an emergency service, or a crisis line. The people who answer our phone number are not clinicians and cannot assess a medical situation or guarantee admission. Provider decisions about eligibility, pricing, and availability rest with each provider. If someone needs emergency care, call 911; for crisis support, call or text 988.

Our relationship with the Find Your Recovery network

Detox Rehab Finder is part of the Find Your Recovery network of recovery information and treatment resources. Find Your Recovery is the broader recovery-resource platform. Addict Outreach publishes addiction education and recovery resources, and Mental Health Outreach covers mental health education and family support. Where those websites cover a topic in more depth, we link to them — and we disclose the relationship so you can weigh it yourself.

How listings are sourced

Listing information comes from the organization's own published information, from government and nonprofit sources, or directly from the provider. Every listing carries a verification status: verified information, provider-submitted information, or information awaiting confirmation. We do not present unverified claims as confirmed facts, and we do not rate clinical quality.

How this site is funded

This website is operated as a commercial directory and lead-generation platform within the Find Your Recovery network, and it may earn revenue from sponsored listings or advertising.
